Community-driven language learning sites. Originally focusing on Spanish, then all Romance languages. Now it includes version for most major languages.

This has been a hobby website for me since March 2007. It has gone through a various redesigns in its history. The latest added an "questions and answers" section as the main component. After viewing how users engaged with the site, quick translations for sayings and aphorisms that machines get wrong is what users generally look for on the site.

In 2009 as a team with Tao Huang, Zhuofeng Li, and Sean Connolly, we also developed an iPhone application with Facebook integration. The social connectivity within a mobile device was an exciting feature to design. Due to time constraints we never released it, however in 2010 I produced some new ones on my own
